Quick answers for early-morning arrivals
Most long-haul flights from the Northern Hemisphere arrive between 6:00am and 10:00am. Standard hotel check-in across Brisbane is 2:00pm.
Plenty. Mt Coot-tha lookout is open around the clock, South Bank’s riverside paths and Streets Beach are lovely from sunrise, cafés across the city pour excellent coffee from 6am, and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary opens at 9am.
It’s the best trick we know. Sunlight and gentle activity on your first morning help reset your body clock — a private tour lets you do that without navigating a new city on three hours’ sleep.
