Queensland Without the Hassle
Private transfers, luxury accommodation, and fully guided day tours.
Built around you and what you want to see.
Travelling somewhere new should feel exciting, not exhausting. But for a lot of international visitors, especially those who want comfort, flexibility, or just don’t want to spend their holiday figuring out logistics, standard group tours often fall short.
Too rushed. Too rigid. Not designed for people who want to actually enjoy where they are.
In short, Adventure Day Trips offers something different: fully private, end-to-end Queensland experiences where the transfers, accommodation, and daily tours are all handled for you. Here’s what that actually looks like in practice.

From the Moment You Land to the Moment You Leave
From your airport pickup to your final transfer home, you won’t need to book a rideshare, navigate public transport, or figure out where you’re going. In advance, we arrange a private vehicle and guide for every leg of the trip. We lock in your accommodation before you land. Your daily itinerary, meanwhile, follows your interests and your pace rather than a fixed group schedule.

This Kind of Tour Is Built For You If…
- You’re visiting from overseas and don’t want to spend your holiday working out Australian logistics.
- You prefer a slower, more considered pace, with scenic drives, local stops, and real experiences over rushed checklists.
- You’re travelling with family or a small group and want the itinerary to actually suit everyone.
- You use a compact wheelchair or have mobility considerations. Most tour companies in Queensland simply aren’t equipped for this. ADT has limited capacity to accommodate compact wheelchairs, and we’ll always be upfront about what’s possible for your specific needs before you book.
- You want transparency: real pricing, real itineraries, no surprises.
Here’s a real 5-day itinerary we built. Pricing is in AUD and includes luxury accommodation.
Arrival Day: Airport Pickup and Welcome to Brisbane
Your first day sets the tone. For example, we met our guests at Brisbane Airport with a private vehicle and spent the afternoon on a city orientation: key landmarks, neighbourhood highlights, and a feel for where they’d be spending the next few days. Afternoon check-in to a three-bedroom luxury apartment in Brisbane’s Sky Tower, one of the city’s best-positioned short stays with sweeping views across the city.

Day 2: Mount Tamborine at Your Own Pace
Jet lag is real, and we build for it. As a result, Day 2 is deliberately unhurried: a scenic drive through the Gold Coast hinterland up to Mount Tamborine, followed by a wander through the Gallery Walk with local artisans, food producers, and wine tastings. The drive back is slow and easy, more about decompression than ticking boxes.

Day 3: Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Around Brisbane
A midday visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary: the world’s oldest and largest koala sanctuary. Compact, accessible, and genuinely memorable. Afterwards, we used the afternoon to revisit a few Brisbane spots the group had flagged on Day 1, keeping things flexible and easy.

Day 4: A Full Day on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland
The standout day. In particular, we headed north to the Sunshine Coast for a full hinterland loop: the Ginger Factory, Nutworks Macadamia Farm, the charming streets of Montville Village, Gerrards Lookout, and Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. Lots to see, but never rushed. The pace is always guided by the group.

Day 5: Final Morning and Airport Transfer
A relaxed final morning before a comfortable private transfer back to Brisbane Airport. No scrambling for taxis, no last-minute stress. In the end, it’s a clean, easy close to the trip.

What Does a Trip Like This Actually Cost?

Where You’ll Stay: Sky Tower Brisbane

A Note on Accessibility
Most private tour operators in Queensland aren’t set up for travellers with mobility considerations, and they’ll often just turn you away. ADT is different. However, we do have limited capacity to accommodate compact wheelchairs, and we’re always honest about what’s feasible for your specific situation before anything is confirmed. If you have mobility needs, reach out before booking and we’ll have a straightforward conversation about what we can make work.
Why Private Tours Just Work Better
Group tours move at the group’s pace. Private tours move at yours. In fact, there’s no keeping up with strangers, no waiting around, no itinerary built for the average traveller. For international guests, especially those visiting for the first time or travelling with specific needs, that flexibility isn’t a luxury. It’s the whole point.
